LIMITED WARRANTY
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
CCP are the world wide importers for Golf Buddy and warrant that this product is free from defects in material and workmanship, according to the following terms and conditions.
1. The limited warranty for
Golf Buddy extends for the first 12 months beginning on the date of purchase of
the product. It is a mail-in warranty: therefore CCP has no obligation to do
any replacing or repair work on Golf Buddy outside its own premises.
2. The limited warranty
extends only to the original consumer purchaser of the product or, in the case
of receiving the product as a gift, to the consumer that fills in the warranty
application and registers it, and is not assignable or transferable to any
subsequent purchaser and/or user.
3. During the limited warranty
period, CCP or its authorized dealers will repair or replace at CCP’s option,
any defective components with new replacement parts, and return the product
to the consumer in working condition. There will be no charge to the consumer
for either parts or labor in repairing or replacing the unit. All replaced
parts shall become the property of CCP. The external cosmetic part shall be
free of defects at the time of shipment and, therefore, shall not be covered
under these limited warranty terms.
4. Repaired or replaced
units will still be warranted for the balance of the original warranty period:
no repair will cause the period to be extended.
5. In order for warranty
claims to be honored, the consumer, upon request from CCP or its authorized
dealers, must provide a purchase receipt to prove date and place of purchase.
6. Transportation,
insurance, delivery and handling charges incurred in the transport of the said
product to CCP or its authorized dealer or place of purchase will be borne by
the consumer. CCP shall under no circumstances be held responsible for damages
during transport to dealer centers or loss in transit. However CCP and
authorized dealers will at their own discretion return the said product to the
registered warranted persons at a cost to CCP.
7. The consumer shall have
no coverage or benefits under this limited warranty if any of the following
conditions are applicable:
(a) The product has been
subject to the use or maintenance in a manner not conforming to the product
instructions contained on the back of the packaging or within this written
outline of the warranty, abnormal condition, improper storage, unauthorized
modifications, misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, wear and tear, alterations,
improper use, Acts of God, spill of food, liquids and chemicals of any kind
other than (H2O -water) or maladjustment of consumer controls or other acts
which are beyond the reasonable control of CCP including deficiencies in
consumable parts, such as sponges, plastics, metal snap hooks, metal key rings,
soap cakes, rubber rings, plastic lids, detachable brush, thistles, and sealed
areas.
(b) CCP was not notified by
the consumer of the alleged defect or malfunction of the appliance within 14
days during the applicable limited warranty period.
(c) The said product has been used for
commercial purposes.
(d) The said product is not defective.
8. This warranty shall not
cover the cost of repairs carried out by non-authorized dealers or service
centers or the cost of correcting such non-authorized repairs.
9. This warranty shall not
cover normal recommended maintenance as set out in the instructions on the
back.
10. If a problem develops
during the limited warranty period, the consumer must comply with the following
procedure:
(a) The consumer shall
return the said product to the place of purchase for repair or replacement.
(b) If compliance with sub
clause a) is not reasonably
convenient the consumer should contact CCP via our website to arrange an
alternative.
(c) The consumer shall
arrange for the said product to be delivered to CCP or an Authorized dealer.
Expenses related to transporting the said product from an instillation are not
covered under this limited warranty.
(d) The consumer will be
billed for any parts or labor charges not covered by this limited warranty.
(e) If the said product is
returned to CCP or an authorized dealer after the expiration of the warranty
period, or the notification referred to in 9.b)
was not given, CCP or CCP Agent’s normal service policies shall apply and the
consumer will be charged accordingly.
11. CCP shall not in any
circumstances be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect,
consequential or economic) caused by the application of the said product,
water, soap, thistles of brush or detachable cap from the said product onto
persons, personal or valuable items, loose objects or pets even if CCP is
informed in advance of the possibility of such loss of damage or if such a loss
or damage is reasonably foreseeable.
12. CCP shall not under any
circumstances be liable for any loss or damage (whether direct, indirect,
consequential or economic)caused by infestation of any kind to the said product
even if CCP is informed in advance of the possibility of such a loss or damage
or if such loss or damage is reasonably foreseeable.
13. CCP shall not under any
circumstances be liable for any variations of how long the self sudsing
mechanism works. The anticipated life use for self sudsing would be seen to
last over a 12 month period based on average play (average play would be seen
as a 1 to 2 times a week of playing golf) and in accordance with the
instructions on the back of the packaging.
14 The internal chamber of
Golf Buddy is designed:
(a) to clean surface dirt on
golf balls only. It is not intended that Golf Buddy would clean any permanent
marks or abrasive parts of a golf ball caused by wear and tear or iron marks or
indentations and alike. CCP shall not under any circumstances be liable for any
variation to the said intent of the internal chamber.
(b) The external brush which
is also designed for external surface dirt and is not intended that the
external brush would clean any permanent marks or abrasive parts of that which
is being cleaned caused by wear and tear or iron marks or indentations and
alike. CCP shall not under any circumstances be liable for any variation to the
said intent of the external brush.
15. Golf Buddy has been designed to accommodate a standard size golf ball of 42.67mm. CCP shall not under any circumstances be liable for the attempted use of any oversized golf balls, novel or otherwise that don’t fit.
16. The cleaning and maintenance of Golf Buddy should follow the instructions outline on the back of packaging. CCP shall not under any circumstances be liable for the attempted cleaning and maintenance outside the prescribed instructions.
